Signs your Xbox HDMI port is failing
The HDMI 2.1 port on Series X and Series S is BGA-mounted directly to the motherboard — one cable yank or a drop with the cable connected can crack the solder joints. These are the symptoms we see every week.
Console on, TV says no signal
Power light is on, fan spins, controller connects — but the TV reports no input. Classic cracked HDMI joint or damaged port.

Works only at an angle
You have to wedge or hold the cable at a specific angle to get picture. Connector housing is loose from the board.
Visible bent or pushed-in pins
Look inside the port with a light — bent, crushed or missing pins mean physical replacement, not a settings fix.
Snow, sparkles or wrong colors
Static, green/pink tint, or artifacts on an otherwise working TV. Failing HDMI signal lines on the port or retimer circuit.

Full disassembly. The motherboard comes out and the damaged port is removed with a hot-air rework station and flux under magnification.
New port micro-soldered
A new HDMI port is aligned and reflowed onto the board pads. Joints are inspected under the microscope, then the board is cleaned and reassembled.
