Remove screws, separate halves, disconnect battery and ribbon cables. Access the motherboard where the stick / trigger / bumper assemblies live.
Replace the failing part
Desolder the worn module, place fresh one (OEM or Hall-effect upgrade), reflow joints. Apply fresh thermal grease where needed. Reseat ribbons.
Test & seal
Pair to a PS5, calibrate in Settings → Accessories, run a 5-min drift test in a game. Walk out with a working controller. 30-day warranty.
