Will I lose my game saves?

No — screen replacement only swaps the display assembly. The eMMC storage holding your saves, downloads, and settings stays untouched. Animal Crossing island, Zelda saves, eShop content — all preserved.

Can you replace just the glass without changing the LCD?

Sometimes. If the LCD is fully intact and the digitizer (touch) still works perfectly, we can do glass-only at $80. But after most drops the LCD ribbon is bent — full assembly replacement is the safer fix and what we recommend.
