Z Fold and Z Flip models are quoted separately because foldables carry two separate cells and need full disassembly. The diagnostic is free and we confirm the exact price before any work starts.

Most Galaxy battery swaps take about 30 minutes and are done while you wait, same-day at all three locations. Samsung Authorized OEM cells at our Montreal location take 1-3 business days because parts come through Samsung’s authorized supply chain. Foldables take longer due to full disassembly.

If you choose a genuine Samsung cell at our Montreal Authorized Service Centre, your full Samsung warranty stays intact — including water resistance certification. Aftermarket batteries do void Samsung’s manufacturer warranty (industry-standard for any non-Samsung part), but your phone is still covered by our 30-day BuyCellFix warranty on parts and labor.

A worn battery drains fast, shuts down with charge remaining, or dies in the cold. A failing charging port charges slowly, needs the cable held at an angle, or stops charging entirely. The symptoms overlap enough that guessing is expensive. We test both during the free diagnostic so you only pay for the part that actually failed.

Yes — stop charging it and bring it in. A back panel lifting or a screen pushing away from the frame means the lithium cell is swelling, which is a genuine fire risk and can crack the display from the inside. Don’t puncture it, don’t leave it in a hot car, and don’t keep using it. Swollen cells are safe to remove and replace; leaving them in is not.

Yes. We replace batteries on Galaxy S10, S9, S8, Note 10, Note 9 and earlier models. Samsung no longer supplies OEM cells for most of these, so premium aftermarket is typically the only option — and on a phone that age it’s the sensible one. Same-day, 30-day warranty on parts and labor.
