Aftermarket OLED replacements are typically completed in 60-90 minutes — same-day service across all three locations. Samsung OEM repairs at our Montreal Authorized location take 1-3 business days because parts come through Samsung’s authorized supply chain. Foldables (Z Fold, Z Flip inner displays) take 3-7 days regardless of OEM or aftermarket.

If you choose Samsung OEM repair at our Montreal Authorized Service Centre, your full Samsung warranty stays intact — including water resistance certification. Aftermarket OLED repairs do void Samsung’s manufacturer warranty (this is industry-standard for any non-Samsung part), but your phone is still covered by our 30-day BuyCellFix warranty on parts and labor.

Yes — we’re one of the few Greater Montreal shops that services foldable inner displays. Z Fold inner screens run $549 (aftermarket) to $799 (Samsung OEM). Z Flip inner screens run $329 to $499. Repair time is 3-7 days due to specialized parts. We also fix outer cover screens, hinge issues, and creased flexible OLED panels.

Possibly — but not always. Black screen with phone working can be the OLED panel, the display connector, or in some cases logic board damage. Bring it in for free diagnostic before assuming you need a screen swap. Sometimes a $30 connector reseat solves it; sometimes it’s a $400 repair. We won’t quote until we know.

Yes. We replace screens on Galaxy S10, S9, S8, Note 10, Note 9, and earlier models with aftermarket OLED in the $129-$179 range. Samsung no longer manufactures OEM parts for most of these older models, so aftermarket is typically the only option. Quality is still excellent — same-day, 30-day warranty.
