These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the BCF GUARD Complete Protection System ("GUARD," "Plan," or "Protection Plan") offered by BuyCellFix Inc. ("BuyCellFix," "we," "us," or "our") to customers ("you," "your," or "Plan Holder") at our Montreal and Laval locations. By purchasing a BCF GUARD plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
"BCF GUARD" refers to the complete protection plan system offered by BuyCellFix, consisting of three categories (For Repairs, For Sales, For Consoles) and two tiers (Minimum and Maximum).
"Covered Device" means the specific device, repair, or console identified at the time of GUARD purchase and recorded on your receipt or confirmation.
"Warranty Claim" means a claim for coverage related to the failure of a repair we performed, a hardware defect in a device we sold, or a defect in a console we repaired or sold, as applicable to your plan category.
"Accident Claim" means a claim for coverage related to unintentional physical damage, limited to drops, cracks, and impacts. Available only on Maximum tier plans.
"Deductible" means the amount the Plan Holder is required to pay at the time a claim is processed. Warranty claims carry a $0 deductible. Accident claims carry a $29 deductible.
"Coverage Period" means twelve (12) months from the date of GUARD purchase.
2. Eligibility & Purchase
2.1 BCF GUARD plans may only be purchased at the time of transaction — specifically, when you pick up a completed repair, purchase a certified pre-owned phone, or purchase/pick up a console repair from BuyCellFix.
2.2 Each GUARD plan covers one (1) specific device or repair. If you have multiple devices, separate GUARD plans must be purchased for each.
2.3 GUARD plans are available at both BuyCellFix locations (Montreal and Laval) and may be used for claims at either location regardless of where the plan was purchased.
2.4 BCF GUARD is a one-time payment at the point of sale. It is not a subscription and does not involve recurring charges.
2.5 Proof of purchase (receipt, confirmation email, or system record) is required for all claims.
3. Plan Categories & Pricing
3.1 For Repairs
Covers repairs performed by BuyCellFix on the customer's own device.

3.2 For Sales (Phones Only)
Covers certified pre-owned phones purchased from BuyCellFix.

3.3 For Consoles
Covers gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) repaired or purchased from BuyCellFix. Flat pricing applies to all console types.

3.4 Tier Definitions
Minimum: Covers warranty claims only. If the repair we performed fails, or a hardware defect occurs in the device we sold, we will repair or address the issue at no cost ($0 deductible). No accident coverage is included.
Maximum: Includes all Minimum coverage, plus one (1) accident claim for unintentional physical damage (drops, cracks, impacts) with a flat $29 deductible per accident claim.
4. Coverage — What's Included
4.1 For Repairs — Covered Events
- Failure of the original repair performed by BuyCellFix within the Coverage Period
- Defects in parts installed by BuyCellFix during the original repair
- Workmanship issues attributable to BuyCellFix technicians
- Motherboard or logic board issues only if directly related to the original repair performed
- Maximum tier only: Unintentional physical damage from drops, cracks, or impacts
4.2 For Sales — Covered Events
- Screen malfunctions (dead pixels, touch failure, display failure)
- Battery degradation below 80% health within the Coverage Period
- Charging port failure
- Speaker or microphone failure
- Camera malfunction
- Button or switch failure
- Motherboard or logic board hardware defects
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular connectivity hardware failure
- Maximum tier only: Unintentional physical damage from drops, cracks, or impacts
4.3 For Consoles — Covered Events
- HDMI port failure (no signal, bent pins, solder joint issues)
- Disc drive malfunction (won't read, grinding, stuck disc)
- Overheating or fan failure (thermal shutdown, loud fan)
- Power supply failure (won't power on, BLOD)
- USB, LAN, or Wi-Fi port failure
- Motherboard or logic board issues only if directly related to the original repair performed
- Maximum tier only: Unintentional physical damage from drops or impacts
5. Exclusions — What's Not Covered
- Water or liquid damage of any kind. This includes but is not limited to: submersion, spills, splashes, humidity exposure, and condensation. Water damage is not covered under warranty claims or accident claims on any tier.
- Theft, loss, or misplacement of the Covered Device.
- Intentional or deliberate damage to the Covered Device.
- Software, firmware, or operating system issues, including but not limited to: app crashes, OS bugs, software corruption, and update failures.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the device, including minor scratches, scuffs, dents, and discoloration.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized third-party repairs performed after the original BuyCellFix repair or sale.
- Pre-existing conditions — issues that existed prior to the BuyCellFix repair or sale and were not caused by BuyCellFix.
- Damage caused by non-standard or counterfeit accessories, including chargers, cables, and batteries not recommended by the device manufacturer.
- Accessories — chargers, earbuds, cables, cases, headsets, charging docks, and other peripherals are not covered.
- Jailbreaking, rooting, or unauthorized software modifications that may have contributed to the device issue.
- Normal wear and tear, including gradual battery degradation beyond the 80% health threshold (for Sales category).
- Issues unrelated to the original repair (For Repairs and For Consoles categories) — GUARD covers the specific repair or device; unrelated components or failures are excluded.
- Motherboard or logic board issues not directly attributable to the original repair performed by BuyCellFix (For Repairs and For Consoles categories).
6. Claims Process
6.1 To file a claim, bring the Covered Device to either BuyCellFix location (Montreal or Laval) during regular business hours.
6.2 You must present proof of your BCF GUARD purchase (receipt, confirmation email, or provide your name/phone number for system lookup).
6.3 A BuyCellFix technician will diagnose the issue and determine whether it falls within the scope of your GUARD coverage.
6.4 If the claim is approved:
- Warranty claim: The repair will be performed at no cost to you ($0 deductible).
- Accident claim (Maximum only): The repair will be performed after payment of the $29 deductible.
6.5 BuyCellFix reserves the right to use new or equivalent-quality replacement parts for all repairs performed under GUARD coverage.
6.6 If a claim is denied (i.e., the issue falls outside GUARD coverage), BuyCellFix will inform you of the reason and may offer to perform the repair at standard pricing, with any applicable GUARD member discounts.
6.7 Warranty claims are unlimited during the Coverage Period. Each warranty claim must relate to a covered event as defined in Section 4.
6.8 Maximum tier plans include one (1) accident claim per Coverage Period. Once the accident claim is used, it cannot be replenished. Warranty coverage remains active for the remainder of the Coverage Period.
6.9 If the Covered Device is determined to be beyond repair for a covered issue, BuyCellFix's obligation under this Agreement is limited to the repair attempt. BuyCellFix is not obligated to provide a replacement device, cash refund (beyond the provisions of Section 9), or store credit in such circumstances.
7. Deductibles

The accident deductible of $29 is a flat rate regardless of the repair cost. It is due at the time the accident claim repair is initiated.
8. Plan Duration & Expiry
8.1 All BCF GUARD plans have a Coverage Period of twelve (12) months, beginning on the date of purchase.
8.2 Coverage expires automatically at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the date that is twelve (12) months after the purchase date.
8.3 If a repair is in progress at the time of expiry, coverage will extend to cover the completion of that specific repair only.
8.4 BCF GUARD plans do not auto-renew. If you wish to continue protection after expiry, a new GUARD plan must be purchased at the time of a new eligible transaction.
8.5 Certain perks, specifically the Free Diagnostic Forever perk, survive the expiry of the Coverage Period as described in Section 10.
9. Refund & Cancellation Policy
9.1 Full Refund (Within 30 Days): If you cancel your GUARD plan within thirty (30) days of purchase and no claims of any kind have been filed, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.
9.2 No Refund (After 30 Days or After Claim): If more than thirty (30) days have passed since purchase, or if any claim (warranty or accident) has been filed under the plan, no refund will be issued.
9.3 To request a cancellation or refund, visit either BuyCellFix location with your proof of purchase. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
9.4 If a refund is issued, all GUARD coverage and perks are immediately terminated, including the Free Diagnostic Forever perk.
10. Perks & Discounts
10.1 Universal Perks (All Plans)
The following perks are included with every BCF GUARD plan, regardless of category or tier:
- Free Diagnostic Forever: Any device may be diagnosed at no charge at either BuyCellFix location, at any time, even after the Coverage Period has expired. This perk is granted for the lifetime of the Plan Holder's relationship with BuyCellFix and does not expire, provided the plan was not refunded or cancelled.
- Family Discount: Immediate family members of the Plan Holder receive 10% off repairs at BuyCellFix. Family members may be required to provide identification or confirm their relationship.
- Priority Service: GUARD Plan Holders receive priority in the repair queue at both locations during the Coverage Period.
10.2 Category-Specific Perks

10.3 Discount Stacking Policy
Discounts do not stack. If a Plan Holder qualifies for multiple discounts (e.g., GUARD member discount and family discount), only the highest applicable discount will be applied. Discounts are never combined or added together.
10.4 Physical Perks
Screen protectors and phone cases included in GUARD plans are provided at the time of GUARD purchase. These are physical items and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. If the Plan Holder declines these items at the time of purchase, they may be collected at a later date during the Coverage Period by presenting proof of GUARD purchase.
10.5 Trade-In Bonus (Sales Only)
The trade-in bonus applies when the Plan Holder trades in the specific Covered Device at BuyCellFix for the purchase of a new or pre-owned device. The bonus is calculated as a percentage increase on the standard trade-in value. The trade-in bonus is not transferable to other devices and must be used during the Coverage Period.
10.6 Console Cleaning (Consoles Only)
One (1) complimentary deep cleaning is included, consisting of dust removal, thermal paste replacement, and fan service. This must be redeemed during the Coverage Period at either BuyCellFix location.
11. Limitations & Liability
11.1 BCF GUARD is a protection plan and not an insurance product. It is offered directly by BuyCellFix Inc. and is not underwritten by a third-party insurer.
11.2 BuyCellFix's total liability under any GUARD plan shall not exceed the original retail value of the Covered Device or the original repair value, as applicable.
11.3 BuyCellFix is not responsible for any data loss, software corruption, or personal data stored on the Covered Device. Plan Holders are advised to back up all data before submitting a device for any claim or repair.
11.4 Repair timelines are estimates and may vary based on parts availability, repair complexity, and current workload. BuyCellFix is not liable for delays in repair completion.
11.5 If the Covered Device cannot be repaired due to the nature or severity of the damage, parts unavailability, or because the device has been deemed beyond economic repair, BuyCellFix's obligation under this plan is limited to the repair attempt. No replacement device, cash equivalent, or store credit is owed.
11.6 BuyCellFix reserves the right to deny a claim if there is evidence of fraud, misrepresentation, tampering, or deliberate damage.
12. Transferability
12.1 BCF GUARD plans are non-transferable. The plan is tied to the original Plan Holder and the specific Covered Device identified at the time of purchase.
12.2 If the Covered Device is sold, given away, or otherwise transferred to another person, the GUARD plan does not transfer with it and becomes void.
12.3 The Free Diagnostic Forever perk remains with the original Plan Holder and does not transfer to subsequent owners of the device.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 If you disagree with a claim decision, you may request a second assessment by a different BuyCellFix technician at either location at no additional cost.
13.2 If the dispute remains unresolved, you may contact BuyCellFix management directly at the contact information provided in Section 15.
13.3 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
13.4 Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
14. Modifications to Terms
14.1 BuyCellFix reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the BuyCellFix website and will apply to plans purchased after the effective date of the modification.
14.2 Existing GUARD plans will remain subject to the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of their purchase for the duration of their Coverage Period.
14.3 BuyCellFix reserves the right to modify pricing for new GUARD plans at any time without notice. Pricing changes do not affect existing active plans.
